Ski pass and ski rental at Gausta is free for all children from 0 til 7 years old. This means that children start paying for their ski passes the day they turn 8 years old. The age of the child when the ski pass is activated applies. All children who will use the lifts in the lift system, other than the conveyor belt, must buy a keycard NOK 75. (Available to buy online or on site.)
All ski passes need a keycard. You can either buy one (a separate fee) when you buy your ski pass, or you can recharge and reuse a keycard you’ve had from a previous visit (in Gausta, or another resort using SKIDATA/the same system).
If you reloaded a Keycard you can go directly to the slopes. If you did not have a Keycard and ordered this online, you'll need to collect your ski pass from our ticket vending machine/pick-up box at the ski rental (after November 15).
Children aged 8-17 and seniors 67+ pay ⅔ of the adult price. (For children aged 0-7 years the ski passes are free, yet every skier needs a keycard from SKIDATA.) Family packages include regular and youth ski passes and can not be combined with senior passes.
Our popular family packages, which offer discounts to families who buy many season tickets, now cover more families than before. This year, the packages apply to all families with 1-2 adults and 1-4 young people between 8 and 17 years. The fifth youth buys season tickets for 50% of the youth price. (As usual, children between 0-7 years ski for free, they only need a valid keycard!) Please note that the packages are only valid for 1-2 adults and 1-4 youths, and that senior cards cannot be combined with family packages.
